2012 was the year of many new groups aka rookies. Some groups were fantastic and others were flops. The idol world of K-pop is dominated by Idol Groups. But, this young rookie didn't let that stop her.After winning runner up on a televised singing competition. Lee Ha Yi was signed to YG entertainment, where she then got her stage name Lee Hi. YG ENTerrtainment is considered to be one of the big threes in Korea's music entertain business. A good move on Lee Hi's part because YG has spawned big names like: Big Bang, 2ne1, and Psy.
Lee Hi debuted on October 28, 2012 with her single 1,2,3,4. Her single quickly rose to number 1 on many charts, both physical and digital. Not only did she get many get many number spots, she also maintained those spots for quite a while.( a month or so) and stills promotes even after more than a month later, thus dubbing her Monster Rookie. And I totally agree. Lee Hi has a great deep and soulful voice and putting that voice with a good song, highlights her early success not, achieved my most rookies in the industry (k pop industry).
Now lets get down to the video. He he! I love Lee Hi's voice and her rookie status, but her music video does not sit well with me. Her acting is HORRIBLE!!!!! Good thing for she doesn't need to be a great actress because her voice rock. After watching video and her live performance tell me which one you thinks is better.
I've decided to post Lee Hi's live performance so you can see, how great she is.
