Of course, New Years is celebrated in South Korea; And what better way to celebrate New Years than to watching your favorite stars perform on stage. Even though they were competing against each other, all the contestants seemed to get along well and have a good time; Which created a good atmosphere and allowed the contestant to work well and have fun.

2012 was the year of many new groups aka rookies.  Some groups were fantastic and others were flops. The idol world of K-pop is dominated by Idol Groups. But, this young rookie didn't let that stop her.

After winning runner up on a televised singing competition. Lee Ha Yi was signed to YG entertainment, where she then got her stage name Lee Hi. YG ENTerrtainment is considered to be one of the big threes in Korea's music entertain business. A good move on Lee Hi's part because YG has spawned big names like: Big Bang, 2ne1, and Psy.
